Role:
- This position is for individual contributor candidates passionate to do hands on work in core engineering company & willing to build career in QA/QC of Wire Harness for aerospace and defence domain.
Experience Level:
- Diploma/BE electrical & electronics candidates with 3 – 4 years of experience or engineering graduates with min 2 years of experience in manufacturing in defence and aerospace industries.
Qualifications and Credentials:
- Candidates must be at least Diploma or Graduate in Electronics and Electrical, with excellent academic credentials, from premier educational institutes.
Technical Requirements:
- Knowledge of wire harness components and manufacturing process used in the cable industry is necessary.
- In-depth understanding of all processes involved in harness manufacturing.
- Inspection in Aircraft Looms and RF cables will be a plus.
- Knowledge on Wire Harness In process and final Inspection stages.
- IPC-WHMA-620D Certification is added advantage.
- Experience with an ISO 9001-2008 /AS9100D will be a huge plus.
- Ensure QMS policies & procedures are followed.
- Analysis of Non-conformities by various methods – 7 QC Tools / 8D /5-WHY etc.
- Develop & Maintain calibration & List of Equipment’s.
- Knowledge on preparing of work instructions& checklists.
- Coordinate with D & D and customer support (repairing) for CAPA.
- Proper and systematic Maintenance of Inspection Records in Hard as well as soft form.
- To coordinate for Customer audit as and when required.
- Reading & understanding of customer’s specifications.
- Good understanding of QA / QC procedures & Sampling Plan.
- To understand and adopt knowledge quickly in new environment.
- Hands-on experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and testing methodologies.
- Previous work experience as a Quality Engineer or similar role.
- To Conduct Customer/Third Party inspection smoothly and prepare Reports as required in time.
- Good written and verbal communication.
- Able to work in a team
